The Build Story
Matilda is a country style board and batten masterpiece which captured the hearts of many. From the checker floor tiles on the porch through the arch feature entry with massive timber chandelier into the main living room with coffered panelled ceilings – this one was truly a beautiful home. Here we had to contend with quite a steep site which was also on a corner and had an amazing frontage which we didn’t want to consume with garage door. We positioned the garage on the smaller frontage to capitalise on the expansive exterior facade for a large feature entry and porch. This home had 2 ensuites – perfect for adult children or visiting guests. No need to share!
The bathrooms featured stone tiles in Marble and Travertine and a classic country palette with green and natural accents of timber and stone.
